
Sonoma Community Association
The Board is looking for Sonoma members interested in serving on committees and future Board positions. Current committees include Architectural, Audit, Landscape, Nominating and Social. The Board consists of five members with staggered two-year terms. Refer to the Board Member and Committee lists.
If you wish to volunteer for any committee(s) or the Board, please let one of the Board members know of your interest. Sonoma is a self-managed association that requires significant volunteer effort to manage and maintain your neighborhood association. Without the dedicated effort of our member volunteers, how we do business would change and likely require significant increases to annual assessments.

Please be aware that Sonoma relies solely on the efforts of volunteers who do not manage HOAs for a living. If you believe the Board or a committee is not performing to your expectations or you have something to complain about, contact a Board member so that your issue can be addressed in the proper forum; i.e., a Board meeting. It serves no useful purpose to broadcast an issue in untoward and denigrating personal communications, social media, to your neighbors or any other inappropriate method. If you feel you want to be part of Sonoma management, please run for the Board or volunteer to be on a committee. The hours are terrific, which are as many as it takes to do the job, and the pay is even better, which is the self-satisfaction knowing that you are contributing to Sonoma for the betterment of the community.
